Angelic Violin Studios Training Introduction

Do you love the sound of the violin and the cello? Are you looking for the best of Suzuki and Traditional/Classical combined? Would you like to be able to read notes without confusion within a few short months? Does the option of being able to play in a small peer string group at any stage of learning interest you? Does having an award winning violin training method sound good? You have come to the right place! By the way, an interesting history of the violin can be found here.

I offer beginning to intermediate violin and beginning cello instruction. Making violin and cello string instruction fun and easy at any age, is what I do best, by using one of the most amazing master courses available today. The integrated method of Suzuki and Classical that I use was developed by Eden Vaning Rosen, an award winning front row professional, who has won awards for her expertise, and this comprehensive yet simply outlined course covers everything you would want to know about playing the violin. You may visit their site at www.theviolinbook.com to preview their materials. Young and old will enjoy this whimsically illustrated workbook style course with step by step and easy to follow instructions which trains the ear, helps students learn to count, gives basic music theory, covers how to care for your instrument, how to tune, provides detailed techniques with illustration, tempo training, with play along CDs that start off with tuning tracks. As I teacher, I provide you with guidance, feedback, resources, assignments, progress charts, parental motivational tools, and encouragement you need to make the most of your time and effort.

For more about the training process itself, please read my page, What will it be Like to Learn?

Who am I? I am a personable, compassionate, and patient teacher with 15 years of teaching experience, mostly with homeschoolers and in-home students of all ages. You can read my reviews here.  I hope you will give me and the art of the violin a try!
