Working with young people at the TAVAMP Mentone Summer Music Camp this past week provided many opportunities to see God at work. TAVAMP stands for Teaching Adventist Values and Moral Principles. 30 some campers came to enjoy learning new instruments, including chimes, guitar, cello, violin, voice, piano, horn, recorder, etc.  Things covered this year: basic and advanced music theory, sacred music principles, orchestra, a musical petting zoo put on by Nick Rail Music Store, master classes, introductory classes, performing for a nursing home as a group ensemble, putting on a secular and sacred music concert at the end of the week.  Here is the final sacred music concert. TAVAMP Summer Music Camp Concert .
